Plaque: Rebuilding of the Grand Place
The inhabitants of Brussels, honouring the energy of their ancestors who in two years rebuilt their town from the ruins left by the destruction caused by the 1695 bombardment, have celebrated, on 26 June1897, the 200th anniversary of the rebuilding of the houses of the Grand Place.
